All tax return preparation is done by trained and qualified preparers on fully computerized in-house equipment with state-of-the-art software. We are an IRS electronic return originator (ERO) authorized to eFile your Federal and State returns for a fast and accurate refund. We help our clients meet their objectives with the most favorable tax results possible under current tax law.

Using the latest, most powerful tax program from a leading software provider, we are able to provide added benefits for our clients. We can prepare any state return, provide detailed tax history, "what if" scenarios, and MFJ/MFS comparisons.

In addition to income tax preparation, we prepare and file the following services: sales tax, tire tax, Fed and PA quarterly estimates, local EIT, local mercantile, PA state wage tax, PA UC, 940, 941, 944, W2 and W3 transmittals, 1099 and 1096 transmittals, 1098 forms, PACE, and PA Real Estate/Rent Rebate.

We prepare monthly or quarterly profit and loss statements for self employed business or farm. We specialize in automotive repair shops, service stations, auto sales, hair care professionals, restaurants, route sales, home based businesses, and retail establishments.

Who We Are...

Stump & Associates was founded as a tax preparation business in 1983. From its humble beginnings, it has grown into a state-of-the-art, full service office. The husband and wife team of Drew and Mary Jane began their careers by training with a nationally known tax preparation company. Over the years they have maintained and expanded their tax knowledge by participating in additional courses and seminars, including completion of the Accountant's Education Services, Back to Basics Income Tax Seminars, Elder Care Tax Seminar, and National Association of Tax Professionals Seminars and training classes.

Where We Are... 

We are located at 245 Broad St. in Kutztown, PA. Kutztown is located on Rt. 222 in eastern Berks County, halfway between Allentown and Reading.

Traveling north from the Reading area on Rt. 222, take the Kutztown/Virginville exit. Proceed into Kutztown past Kutztown University. Travel east on Main St. through 5 traffic lights. After you cross the railroad tracks, turn right at the first intersection unto S. Maple St. Follow to the end when it turns left and becomes Broad St. We are the last house on the left facing Broad St.

Traveling south on Rt. 222 from the Allentown area, take the Kutztown exit. After the first traffic light, proceed about 1/4 mile to S. Laurel St. It is a three-way intersection with only a left turn unto S. Laurel St. Proceed 3 blocks and turn right unto Broad St. We are the first house on the right.

Please follow the sign to our office door located at the back of the house. We have a fully equipped, 330 square foot office in the basement.

We will not sell or distribute our client list to any third party for the purpose of marketing, advertising, or solicitation. We will not forward your tax information to a third party such as a bank or mortgage lender without your written approval.
